From Sylvania Waters to The Family

In 1992 Australian audiences were transfixed by Noeline Baker and Laurie Donaher, their extended family and their ‘McMansion’ in "Sylvania Waters". The future sales model is made unclear and the value of online seems modest at best - when will online become valuable and how do we get there? It's time to give our audiences what they want and deal them in to our business. COO of Distrify,Andy Green, will present future scenarios of a profitable film business, one that is radically different from today and also seek to define what documentary content audiences will consume. Get the Back End Right

To attract private funding to a documentary, the filmmakers should have a clear idea of the audience engagement campaign for their film. This needs to be developed at the outset and involves finding audiences at the earliest stages.
